You can define the features that are available to each account.

Charging features

Charging features refer to the different types of charging that are possible using Everon - public, private, and community. For accounts, you can choose to enable or disable the community charging feature. The other charging types are managed at card or station level.

Community charging

Enabling this option creates a community between the parent account and its sub-accounts. Being part of a community allows sub-accounts to charge for free at stations that belong to the parent account and its sub-accounts. Once you enable community charging for an account, it is enabled by default for sub-accounts.

To enable or disable community charging for an account:

  1. Click Accounts.
  2. Search and select the account in the overview.
  3. Open the Features tab.
  4. Click the Community charging checkbox.
  5. Click Save.

Smart charging

Smart charging ensures that EVs are charged in the most efficient way possible. Intelligent functionalities within a charging station enable it to communicate data with EVs and backend platforms, such as Everon. By communicating this data, the charging infrastructure distributes power to EVs in an efficient and flexible way that is balanced with other appliances on site.

You can enable accounts to manage the following smart charging features:

  • Charging profiles
  • SMATCH integration

Charging profiles

Charging profiles schedule the amount of power that a station can output on different days and times. If charging profiles are enabled for accounts, customers can create their own charging profiles and assign them to stations in their account.

To enable or disable the charging profiles feature for an account:

  1. Click Accounts.
  2. Search and select the account in the overview.
  3. Open the Features tab.
  4. Click the Charging profiles checkbox.
  5. Click Save.

The account should now be able to create and assign their own charging profiles.

SMATCH integration

SMATCH is a third party smart charging platform. If a business account has SMATCH installed at their site, you can enable or disable whether it integrates with Everon. To do so:

  1. Go to Accounts.
  2. Search and select the account in the overview.
  3. Open the Features tab.
  4. Click the Smatch integration checkbox.
  5. Click Save.
